Premier Community Bank Promotes Financial Literacy During “Power of Community” Week
| Posted in Bank News
Premier Community Bank proudly participated in the Wisconsin Bankers Association’s eighth annual Power of Community week, held April 21 – 25, 2025. This statewide initiative encourages banks to showcase their commitment to making a positive impact in the communities they serve.
As part of this year’s celebration, all 11 Premier Community Bank branches focused on youth financial education by presenting engaging, age appropriate savings lessons to children. The presentations took place during the Power of Community week and will continue throughout the month of May. Employees visited local schools, hosted elementary students for branch tours, and gave presentations at child care centers. These activities helped children begin to understand the importance of saving and making smart money choices.
Across the initiative, employees delivered more than 15 presentations and reached over 150 kids throughout the Bank’s service area.
“Premier Community Bank really looks forward to participating in Power of Community week,” said Gwen Fischer, AVP Marketing. “It’s inspiring to see all 11 branches step up to deliver meaningful financial lessons across our communities. It’s a fun and rewarding way to give back and to help spark smart saving habits early in life”
