Supporting Financial Literacy for Marion 8th Graders
| Posted in Bank News
Marion, WI – Premier Community Bank proudly donated $750 to the Marion School District this school year to support Mr. Zwirschitz’s 8th Grade Careers class. The funds were used to purchase Junior Achievement Finance booklets, which served as a key component of the students’ Finance Unit.
In February, Bank employees Payton Zblewski, Sandra Carroll, Tammy Daebler, and Tara Knaack visited Mr. Zwirschitz’s classroom to share real-world insight on important financial topics including debit and credit cards, fraud prevention, investing, and careers in banking.
In March, students had the opportunity to put their knowledge into action during a field trip to the Junior Achievement BizTown facility in Appleton. Premier Community Bank employees Payton Zblewski, Sandra Su, Tammy Daebler, and Tara Knaack volunteered for the day, guiding students through budgeting exercises and helping them apply the lessons they had learned in class.
